Job Description

Key Role:

Serve as a virtual, constructive, and gaming training integrator and operator supporting the Army National Guard Asymmetric Threat Training Support Program (ARNG ATTSP). Support home station training using Virtual Battlespace (VBS) in a classroom and field environment and develop and tailor scenarios to facilitate training. Train personnel as operators and administrators of VBS and provide games for training general support for all gaming applications and services. Perform installation, operation, maintenance, and configuration management for the assigned Games for Training Software. Report the use of virtual systems monthly and coordinate and schedule training with ARNG units. Write storyboards and deliver comprehensive After-Action Reports (AARs) at the conclusion of training events. Assist with planning and providing virtual training across multiple locations, provide continuity, and apply expertise that enables awareness and effective use of virtual training assets to support training across the ARNG. This position is located at Camp Shelby, MS.

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years of experience with the US Army
4+ years of experience with leading training
Experience with simulations to support training
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Access, and Word
Ability to travel in support of the Army National Guard client for up to 25% of the time
Secret clearance required
HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of Virtual Battle Space 3
Ability to show instructor qualifications from a service school
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
BA or BS degree
Ability to complete the Booz Allen Facilitator Training Course and Certification successfully within 120 days of hire
Completion or Graduated from a Foundational Instructor Or Facilitator Course, including US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Army Basic Instructor Course for the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Certification
