We are actively recruiting for a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our HR Technology organization.
Position Overview
This role is part of our strategic initiative to streamline and enhance the employee experience at Applied Materials. The charter is to improve service delivery with HR and enterprise online presence, communications, content, and process to employees, managers, and HR. This effort will encompass a single-source platform to include case management, knowledge management, brand development, guidelines, and architectural and portfolio simplification, creating a better online, content, and user experience for our managers, employees, and HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with functional and technical staff to research, coordinate, and implement ServiceNow upgrades or fix in Test and Production environments, document changes and test results
- Develop both security governance model and content governance model
- Configure, debug, and implement ServiceNow solutions including reports, maintain tables and data fixes
- Seek and implement process improvement opportunities
- Researches and resolves system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements—liaison with third parties and other stakeholders, e.g., payroll, benefit vendors, etc.
- Use project management skills in managing projects. Provide overall project management for a given HR system initiative.
- Develop and maintain documentation including business and functional specs
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Experience
- Experience delivering HR Scoped app within ServiceNow, including Case Management, Knowledge Management, and Employee Service Center preferred
- Experience with Workday or other HCM
- Familiar with HR Shared services operations and queue management
- Understand Human Resources business requirements and execute them through successful implementation and testing
- Participate in projects and ensure coverage of all facets of design, development, testing and a successful end-user experience
- Analyze and determine application and interface solutions, understand application functionality
- Good understanding of HCM and HR Service Delivery
- Utilize IT Software Development Life Cycle methodology and Agile as they fit the initiative
- Ability to express complex technical concepts adequately, both verbally and in writing
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Provide status against plans and escalate issues
- May conduct research, pilot features, and document and prepare recommendations for review
