What will I be doing?
As a Senior Analyst of Payroll you will focus on the performance of the critical payroll processes led by Hilton’s Global Payroll Center of Excellence (CoE). You will provide guidance and support to the broader payroll team, including the CoE and Shared Service Center (SSC), to marshal key payroll processes from end to end assuring quality and efficiency.
More specifically, you will:
- Accountable for the successful control of key and critical processes, including garnishments, separations, property transitions, banking, pay distribution, and specialized activities such as the cyclical intake of relocation data or other forms of imputed income
- Handle process-related errors are tracked and driven to resolution; engage applicable third-party vendor or internal business partner as appropriate
- Develop and maintain efficient process control procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Develop key performance indicators for applicable processes, find opportunities, and take action to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Stay current on trends and technologies related to applicable processes
- Support the resolution of inquiries submitted by individual Team Members, Hilton property leadership, Shared Service Center (SSC) Team Members, vendors, and other partners
- Stay current on regulations with respect to payroll, including FLSA, taxes, collective bargaining agreements, and other related or contractual regulations and requirements
- May provide support for cyclical system testing (UAT)

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Three (3) years with accounting and/or payroll experience for large organizations
- Proficient with root cause analysis and conducting research
- Proven familiarity with Enterprise HCM/Payroll/ERP platforms
- Proven experience working with vendors who provide payroll or HR related support such as garnishment processing, check print and distribution, SUI/SIT management
It would be helpful in this position to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) years with payroll experience for large organizations
- Certification desired: CPP, FPC, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
