The Opportunity

In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to join our Procurement Legal team and be exposed to and perform work for diverse groups around the world in our Global Procurement organization. This position will support a wide variety of agreements and projects across legal specialties. Need an experienced paralegal or contracts manager skilled in contracts and licensing.

What you’ll do

  • Work with a global procurement team supporting a variety of legal work throughout the world, including software licensing, product development, corporate governance, and intellectual property.
  • Review standard templates for recurring commercial transactions and learning Adobe’s business model, including legal and business related requirements.
  • Review, draft and approve procurement services agreements across all categories including agreements for the procurement of goods, software, services, marketing.
  • Collaborate on RFP/RFI documentation and other various related actions for the support of these transactions.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with sales, finance, procurement, marketing, engineering, and business unit teams to support revenue, process transactions, to address corporate policies/processes and legal issues as they arise.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a legal professional, with software and online services industry experience.
  • A dedication to develop a deep understanding of the Creative Cloud business.
  • Proficient at negotiating and drafting various technology license agreements, with assistance.
  • Familiarity with privacy law, data security issues, and intellectual property law.
  • An approachable, easygoing, and flexible manner with a sense of humor.
  • Candidate must enjoy working on a team and also be able to self-start and work independently.
  • Candidate must be thorough, detailed, efficient, and responsive to teammates and clients.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to exercise common sense to provide both practical and theoretical input; must be a creative problem solver.
