In addition, this team supports the strategy and philanthropic giving of The Starbucks Foundation, with a focus on enabling community resiliency and prosperity and uplifting communities affected by disaster.
As a Starbucks Social Impact program manager, you will be responsible for implementing programs that enable partners to activate nonprofit relationships and serve their communities in priority cities, working in partnership with cross-functional teams to support our partners, customers and the local communities in which we operate.
Leveraging your previous experience, we will enable you to:
  • Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships and manage a community investment portfolio to support key organizations to strengthen local relationships and deepen community impact in select geographies;
  • Manage nonprofit relationships, closely monitoring progress, impact reporting, and bringing forward opportunities for further collaboration and impact;
  • Build and manage resources and tools that help partners activate on national community partnerships, connect our retail partners with community engagement opportunities and deepen our stores’ engagement in local communities; and
  • Identify and maintain partner (employee) engagement opportunities.

 

We’d love to hear from people with:
  • 5-7 years of diversified experience in corporate social responsibility, social impact, nonprofit management, and program management and have demonstrated experience managing multiple complex programs and influencing others within organizations of scale
  • Previous experience in managing nonprofit stakeholder relationships & partnerships preferred
  • Demonstrated project management experience, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal presentation skills as core requirements
  • Ability to work both independently and inter-dependently with a diverse range of leaders, including executive, mid-management and front-line leaders, in both remote and face-to-face environments
  • Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment, work with a high level of professional maturity, and aptitude for navigating large, ambiguous and matrixed organizations
  • Experience clearly and concisely synthesizing and reporting on complex and diverse programs for a diverse group of audiences
  • Experience with database management, mastery of Excel and PowerPoint preferred; experience in creating executive presentations preferred
