The ServiceNow Product Owners are responsible for defining requirements, assisting with the overall product roadmap/vision, and driving value at the scrum team level. Product Owners work closely with teams and are the “voice of the customer”, ensuring the needs of the end-user are incorporated into the product from design to deployment. Product Owners are responsible for the authoring of functional user stories which are used to support the day to day development of new features and capabilities. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities. Mentoring, coaching and training of team resources is also a responsibility of this role.

ROLE
- Works with Stakeholders to understand their business process requirements, and assist them with enhancement requests for ServiceNow (CARTS+).
- Authors Epics and Stories with detailed acceptance criteria for enhancement requests on ServiceNow (CARTS+) that address stakeholder business problems.
- Partners closely with the Scrum Masters on sprint planning, including prioritizing stories that have the highest business value and are aligned with enterprise standards and business roadmaps .
- Collaborates effectively with other team members, business stakeholders, and CARTS+ leadership.
- Collaborates with solution architects to understand IT technology strategies that guide which requirements need to be gathered.
- Collaborates with teams across Costco to resolve issues.
- Understands Costco’s enterprise IT processes, and works closely with stakeholders to identify appropriate solutions to business problems.
- Determines scope, estimates work effort and determines duration of development activities.
- Designs solutions to meet business requirements.
- Owns and updates the ServiceNow product vision and roadmaps.
- Collaborates with Scrum Masters and teams to define the sprint plan based on the priority outlined within the overall product vision and roadmap.
- Collaborates with the agile team to prepare the estimates for the user stories within the product backlog.
- Conducts the formal review and acceptance of user stories implemented by the agile team within a sprint.
- Drives the execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) activities with support from business and technology team members.
- Provides daily support of the ServiceNow platform; including, integrations and administration.
- Maintains deep understanding of the ServiceNow platforms’ current and future capabilities.
- Commits to continuous process improvement.
- Participates in team planning and activities for improving skills, knowledge, and quality of work.

- Experience working as a contributing member on an Agile Scrum based Delivery Team.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines as well as coordinate, prioritize and communicate project statuses to required parties.
