We are actively recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our world-class finance team within Applied Global Services (AGS). You will be partnering at the executive-level to drive the financial planning and execution of growth plans for critical operations & engineering functions.

AGS Business Summary

The AGS segment provides integrated solutions to optimize equipment, fab performance, and productivity, including spares, services, upgrades, remanufactured earlier generation equipment, and factory automation software for semiconductors, displays, and other products. Customer demand for products and services is fulfilled through a global distribution network system with 90 locations and trained service engineers, located near customer sites in more than a dozen countries, to support over 38,000 installed Applied Semiconductor, Display, and other manufacturing systems worldwide.

This role’s focus will be ~50% on headcount, expense, capital budgeting, and analysis, and ~50% focused on operational strategy and related financial support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interacts as a direct business partner with operations executives, delivering analysis and recommendations to guide operational and financial decisions
  • Supports business unit operations & engineering teams in the development & tracking of program budgets of ~$175M+ in annual spend
  • Performs required activities and analysis to complete close and forecast cycle deliverables with minimal oversight
  • Conducts detailed variance analysis and commentary for finance and non-finance executives
  • Develops complex modeling in support of strategic plans, including supply chain and global network development initiatives
  • Key participant or lead for system integration and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Preferences

  • The ideal candidate will have strong verbal & written communication skills, be a team player, and have strong attention to detail
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions, exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Strong Accounting/Finance skills and curiosity and excitement in the high-tech business environment
  • Must be proactive, possess solid financial analytic skills, communication skills, and be self-directed
  • Must work effectively with all levels of management and various functions (finance, supply chain, engineering) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment often with multiple and changing priorities
  • Self-starter: able to maintain financial cycle deliverables, identify change, and drive items to closure with minimal management oversight

Education

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred but not required
  • 3 – 7 Years of Experience
