Job Details
Salesforce’s Legal Operations department is looking for an experienced Associate Content Project Manager who will manage and steer legal and technology content development and publishing projects through completion.
They will manage small to medium projects and processes, creating and maintaining project plans, coordinating input and review across cross-functional teams of content owners, defining delivery parameters, ensuring deliverables are completed and delivered on schedule as documented, and driving to execution. They will provide status visibility to management throughout the project lifecycle, and will provide a last line of QA (Quality Assurance) review of content prior to publishing.
The Associate Content Project Manager will support the development of new content project management processes and procedures, and the continued maintenance of the content project management program in the Legal Operations department.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage multiple content development and publishing projects simultaneously, ultimately delivering each project within defined quality parameters and on schedule
- Document and develop project plans; organize, plan, manage, and execute project objectives based on project plans
- Communicate to cross-functional small to medium teams of stakeholders those tasks, action items, and deliverables required of each team member, including step by step timelines; manage and ensure timely completion of deliverables by each team member; perform last line QA review of content prior to publication; drive to execution
- Provide regular status reports to management, including identification and escalation of project blockers, risks, issues
- Refine best in class content project management processes and procedures for the Legal Operations department.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years content project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience effectively (i) leading multiple content initiatives, (ii) developing detailed work breakdowns and schedules with clear deadlines; and (iii) managing stakeholder requirements, communications and satisfaction.
- Experience working with industry leading content project management processes and procedures.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining highest quality standards
- Experience working with Legal departments developing content and managing content production; general knowledge of legal terminology
- Excellent communication, writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, to technical, business, and executive stakeholders; expert-level fluency in written English
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, and problem solving skills
- BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline (Journalism, Technical Writing, Communication, other) or equivalent experience
- PMP or another Project Management Certification
- Experience with Salesforce platform, publishing tools, and enterprise-wide Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Additional languages (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Dutch)
