The Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program provides all launch processing support functions for Office of Space Launch (OSL). The program’s two primary operating locations are Vandenberg AFB, CA and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, and satellite processing facilities O&M, clean room operations, and safety and environmental services.
The PLSSS program is seeking an administrative assistant with strong operational knowledge of office routine, organizational understanding, and procedures related to the success of the Vandenberg site operations. This is a confidential administrative position working for the Vandenberg site manager and staff.
You will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
This job is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) with an hourly wage no less than $21.86 per hour.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to support heavy multi-tasking with a positive attitude
- Must have the ability to provide experienced verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
- Must be able to anticipate and prepare materials, to include catering, needed by the supervisor for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc., and informs supervisor on matters to be considered
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance of TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Desired Skills:
- Experience in interfacing with customers
- Experience in reviewing materials prepared for supervisor’s approval for typographical accuracy and proper format
- Experience in reading publications, regulations, and directives, and take action or refer those that are important to the supervisor and staff
- Experience in managing website homepages
- Experience with Concur travel and expense reporting system
- Experience in I-9 certification and E-Verify
